Riding The Manacor Avenues
A town loop with the logic of the town built into it: four kilometres around Manacor’s avenue ring, where everything is a one-way pair and the only two-way street is the avinguda des Torrent — the covered torrent — so the loop rides it twice, out and home, because that is the only legal way home. Out of the Ma-15C mouth the outbound barrel runs Fra Juníper Serra onto the avinguda del Tren, the avenue laid where the Artà railway ran; the spine crosses to the rambla pair and the loop turns at the rambla del Port, the gateway the Porto Cristo road leaves town by, eleven metres above the start and the highest point of the ride. Then the same geometry backwards on the other half of each pair. Nothing here is scenery in the postcard sense — it is the working street grid of the island’s second town, ridden in the one shape its one-way signs permit.
This is a true 4.2 km circuit: the road closes naturally rather than using an artificial turnaround.
This is coastal Mallorca rather than a generic blue horizon: the road’s relationship with coves, cliffs, ports, stone retaining walls, and open water is what defines it.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The profile is restrained by Mallorca standards: 11 m separates its lowest and highest points. The interest comes from rhythm, surface changes, exposed straights, and the way the road moves through the landscape rather than one headline climb.
Use the opening kilometres to find cadence and keep the power smooth. The route is ideal for endurance work, recovery riding, or simply exploring the island without a large climbing bill.
Points to watch for
The best Mallorca routes are remembered as a sequence of places, not as a GPX line. These are the changes of scene that organise this ride.

Manacor
The route rolls away from Manacor, giving you a few minutes to find cadence and read the road ahead.

Manacor — both one-way pairs of the avenue ring as one loop
Manacor — both one-way pairs of the avenue ring as one loop is one of the route’s defining changes of scene and a useful marker for pacing the ride.

83 m high point
At 83 m high point, the elevation trace reaches its ceiling before the road releases the height it has earned.
Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten the Manacor Avenues into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
Because the course closes naturally, it works especially well for repeated laps, steady endurance rides, and comparing the same decisions under fatigue.
