Riding The Level Crossing
A published cycling holiday rides this line between its coffee stops, and nine metres in it does something no other road in this world does: it crosses a working railway at grade, full barriers, on the SFM Inca–Manacor line two hundred metres from Sineu station. When the barriers are down, you stop. Beyond the crossing the Ma-3511 is severed at a staggered junction — the route crosses it on the old Palma road's metres — and then becomes one uninterrupted five-kilometre country road, signed at 90, falling gently the whole way to the Ma-3440 junction below Llubí, whose plaça and almond-cake café sit a short climb up the spine road beyond the ride's end.
This point-to-point line covers 5.6 km, from Sineu toward the barriers toward the Ma-3511 toward Llubí.
The route is read through settlement edges: narrow streets, rooflines, roundabouts, church towers, old road alignments, and the moment the built fabric releases the rider back into open country.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The profile is restrained by Mallorca standards: 80 m separates its lowest and highest points. The interest comes from rhythm, surface changes, exposed straights, and the way the road moves through the landscape rather than one headline climb.
Use the opening kilometres to find cadence and keep the power smooth. The route is ideal for endurance work, recovery riding, or simply exploring the island without a large climbing bill.
Points to watch for
The best Mallorca routes are remembered as a sequence of places, not as a GPX line. These are the changes of scene that organise this ride.

130 m high point
At 130 m high point, the elevation trace reaches its ceiling before the road releases the height it has earned.
Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten the Level Crossing into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
The point-to-point format gives the session a destination. There is no need to invent a finish when the real road already has one.
