Riding The Ma-2022 Arm, Ridden Back
The other Consell arm, taken the other way — 4,347.6 m from the Ma-2022’s own dead end back up to Alaró, and the only ride on this corridor that runs against its build in both of its edges. It can, because the road back was measured rather than assumed: on this leg the return runs within thirty centimetres of the outbound on average and never leaves it by more than thirteen metres, and on the Alaró leg it comes home to the exact node it started from. The third leg has no road back at all — its far end is a one-way sink — which is why there is no matching return over the Ma-2050 and why this ride exists instead of a tidy out-and-back. It opens at the Creu del Cementeri, twenty-four metres off the line, runs the vineyard leg where the census reads the strongest orchard share on the corridor and no worked open ground whatsoever, passes the Pont Trencat at thirty metres, and rejoins the junction. From there it climbs the long straight into Alaró with the Tramuntana front filling the windscreen and three prehistoric sites strung out along a kilometre of it — on the leg whose own profile called this country featureless.
This point-to-point line covers 4.6 km, from the Creu del Cementeri toward the Pont Trencat toward the junction toward up into Alaró.
This is coastal Mallorca rather than a generic blue horizon: the road’s relationship with coves, cliffs, ports, stone retaining walls, and open water is what defines it.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The profile is restrained by Mallorca standards: 69 m separates its lowest and highest points. The interest comes from rhythm, surface changes, exposed straights, and the way the road moves through the landscape rather than one headline climb.
Use the opening kilometres to find cadence and keep the power smooth. The route is ideal for endurance work, recovery riding, or simply exploring the island without a large climbing bill.

Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten the Ma-2022 Arm, Ridden Back into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
The point-to-point format gives the session a destination. There is no need to invent a finish when the real road already has one.
