Riding The Montuïri Crest
The shortest of the three and the only one with a hill in it. Five kilometres of the Ma-3220 out of Montuïri, over the crest at a hundred and ninety-three metres — the high point of everything D28 owns — and down the far side toward Sant Joan at gradients that touch nine per cent. Montuïri stands on its own shoulder behind you for most of the climb, which is the reason to ride it in low light: the town, the crest and the windmill line all read against the plain rather than on it.
This point-to-point line covers 5 km, from Montuïri toward the 192.9 m crest toward the Sant Joan approach.
This is coastal Mallorca rather than a generic blue horizon: the road’s relationship with coves, cliffs, ports, stone retaining walls, and open water is what defines it.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The profile is restrained by Mallorca standards: 69 m separates its lowest and highest points. The interest comes from rhythm, surface changes, exposed straights, and the way the road moves through the landscape rather than one headline climb.
Use the opening kilometres to find cadence and keep the power smooth. The route is ideal for endurance work, recovery riding, or simply exploring the island without a large climbing bill.
Points to watch for
The best Mallorca routes are remembered as a sequence of places, not as a GPX line. These are the changes of scene that organise this ride.

191 m high point
At 191 m high point, the elevation trace reaches its ceiling before the road releases the height it has earned.
Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten the Montuïri Crest into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
The point-to-point format gives the session a destination. There is no need to invent a finish when the real road already has one.
