Mallorca route guide · Llevant & East Coast
Riding The Llevant coast
A hundred and thirty kilometres along the island's east shoulder, from one harbour roundabout to another. Out of Porto Colom on the coast road to Porto Cristo and its ring, then inland through Manacor's old town and the possessions country the Ma-4021 was cut to serve, north over Son Carrió and through the Son Servera rotonda — fifty-six metres of one-way circulation that this ride waited on for a corridor to carve — and up the Ma-4040 past Pula and the Coll des Vidrier tunnel to Capdepera under its castle. The way back is the Ma-15 to Artà and the coll, then the sa Gruta lane down to the sea again. The longest run of coast this world holds in one line.
This point-to-point line covers 130 km, from Porto Colom toward Porto Cristo toward Son Carrió toward Son Servera toward Capdepera toward Porto Cristo.
This is coastal Mallorca rather than a generic blue horizon: the road’s relationship with coves, cliffs, ports, stone retaining walls, and open water is what defines it.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The elevation trace is rolling rather than alpine, spanning 202 m from low point to high point. There is 1,254 m of total ascent, enough to reward measured pressure over the rises without turning the whole route into a survival exercise.
Treat this as a long mountain day. Fuel before you need it, cap the early effort, and let the descents reset your breathing; the profile is too large to rescue with one heroic final interval.
Points to watch for
The best Mallorca routes are remembered as a sequence of places, not as a GPX line. These are the changes of scene that organise this ride.

Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten the Llevant coast into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
The point-to-point format gives the session a destination. There is no need to invent a finish when the real road already has one.
