Riding The Petra Hub
The whole corridor in its only fully legal line: north over the Ma-15 crossing on the one-way-honest Ma-3310, through Petra past the square’s two streets and the cemetery cross, over the railway bridge that is the reason this corridor has no level crossing — the electrified Palma–Manacor line runs beneath — and out the Ma-3330 roundabout onto eleven bendless kilometres to Santa Margalida. Petra is the high point of its own hub; the ride falls away from it at both ends.
This point-to-point line covers 16.6 km, from The Ma-15 toward Petra toward Ariany toward Santa Margalida.
The route is read through settlement edges: narrow streets, rooflines, roundabouts, church towers, old road alignments, and the moment the built fabric releases the rider back into open country.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The profile is restrained by Mallorca standards: 60 m separates its lowest and highest points. The interest comes from rhythm, surface changes, exposed straights, and the way the road moves through the landscape rather than one headline climb.
Use the opening kilometres to find cadence and keep the power smooth. The route is ideal for endurance work, recovery riding, or simply exploring the island without a large climbing bill.
Points to watch for
The best Mallorca routes are remembered as a sequence of places, not as a GPX line. These are the changes of scene that organise this ride.

Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten the Petra Hub into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
The point-to-point format gives the session a destination. There is no need to invent a finish when the real road already has one.
