Riding Santa Eugènia to Pina and Sencelles
The shelf of low country between Santa Eugènia and Sencelles, which the numbered map makes look like four roads and which on the ground is one continuous ride. Down the Ma-3040 to the Ma-3011 at Puntiró and back, then north through Biniali to Sencelles and out on the Ma-3140 past Cascanar to the Ruberts step. The Ma-15 underpass carries the ride under the trunk road at Algaida, and the finish is the Sencelles shelf at Laiar. Forty-four kilometres and not one of them on a road with a hard shoulder.
This point-to-point line covers 44.3 km, from Santa Eugènia toward Puntiró toward Biniali toward Sencelles toward Algaida toward the Sencelles shelf.
The Pla is the subject here: worked parcels, mills, vines, almond and carob, long sightlines, and roads whose small changes in height are amplified by the open horizon.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The elevation trace is rolling rather than alpine, spanning 98 m from low point to high point. There is 323 m of total ascent, enough to reward measured pressure over the rises without turning the whole route into a survival exercise.
Ride the early gradients a shade below the effort you think you can hold. The broken rhythm rewards cadence changes and short, controlled pressure rather than repeated spikes above threshold.

muntro does not flatten Santa Eugènia to Pina and Sencelles into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
