Riding The s'Aranjassa teardrop
The same descent off the Llucmajor plateau, taken to the other exit. At s'Aranjassa the Ma-19A throws off a teardrop slip — outbound only, which is why it ends the ride rather than sitting inside one — and drops onto the camí de la Síquia beside the irrigation channel the plain is drained by. Thirteen kilometres of straight line and one of the few pieces of interchange geometry on the island a bicycle is allowed on.
This point-to-point line covers 13.3 km, from Llucmajor toward the Pla de Sant Jordi toward the s'Aranjassa slip toward the camí de la Síquia.
The Pla is the subject here: worked parcels, mills, vines, almond and carob, long sightlines, and roads whose small changes in height are amplified by the open horizon.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The elevation trace is rolling rather than alpine, spanning 168 m from low point to high point. There is 42 m of total ascent, enough to reward measured pressure over the rises without turning the whole route into a survival exercise.
Use the opening kilometres to find cadence and keep the power smooth. The route is ideal for endurance work, recovery riding, or simply exploring the island without a large climbing bill.
Points to watch for
The best Mallorca routes are remembered as a sequence of places, not as a GPX line. These are the changes of scene that organise this ride.

Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten the s'Aranjassa teardrop into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
The point-to-point format gives the session a destination. There is no need to invent a finish when the real road already has one.
