Mallorca route guide · Migjorn & South
Riding Cala Pi and the camí des Palmer
Seventeen kilometres of the Marina de Llucmajor, which is the flattest, emptiest and stoniest corner of the island. The ride starts at the cove, climbs the carretera de Cala Pi to the Ma-6014 and runs past Capocorb to the Camí de Cala Pi; the camí des Palmer then takes its west arm between drystone walls to the Camí Vell, and the Camí Vell de Cala Pi climbs imperceptibly north to Llucmajor's own ronda. Quiet enough to be the reason you came.
This point-to-point line covers 17.3 km, from Cala Pi toward Capocorb toward the camí des Palmer toward the Camí Vell toward the Ronda de Migjorn.
This is coastal Mallorca rather than a generic blue horizon: the road’s relationship with coves, cliffs, ports, stone retaining walls, and open water is what defines it.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The elevation trace is rolling rather than alpine, spanning 96 m from low point to high point. There is 107 m of total ascent, enough to reward measured pressure over the rises without turning the whole route into a survival exercise.
Use the opening kilometres to find cadence and keep the power smooth. The route is ideal for endurance work, recovery riding, or simply exploring the island without a large climbing bill.

Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten Cala Pi and the camí des Palmer into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
The point-to-point format gives the session a destination. There is no need to invent a finish when the real road already has one.
