Riding S’Àguila and Cala Pi
19.5 km across the marina de Llucmajor, the dry limestone country between the town and the south coast. Two lanes, both unnumbered, both asphalt end to end: the camí de s’Àguila climbs gently north to the town, and the camí de Cala Pi runs back south-west to the cliffs — nine kilometres of it a single unbroken way. The municipality names its own cycling route after the first of them and calls it a road frequented by many cyclists. There is no village on the line and no worked field beside it: the census found not one farmland, orchard or vineyard ring within a hundred metres of the whole ride, and the pine and garriga close in from both verges. It finishes at Cala Pi, two kilometres from where it started and a long way round.
This point-to-point line covers 19.5 km, from up the camí de s’Àguila toward Llucmajor toward down the camí de Cala Pi to the sea.
This is coastal Mallorca rather than a generic blue horizon: the road’s relationship with coves, cliffs, ports, stone retaining walls, and open water is what defines it.
Captured in muntro Relief, gradient, and how to pace it
The profile is restrained by Mallorca standards: 41 m separates its lowest and highest points. The interest comes from rhythm, surface changes, exposed straights, and the way the road moves through the landscape rather than one headline climb.
Use the opening kilometres to find cadence and keep the power smooth. The route is ideal for endurance work, recovery riding, or simply exploring the island without a large climbing bill.
Points to watch for
The best Mallorca routes are remembered as a sequence of places, not as a GPX line. These are the changes of scene that organise this ride.

Why this road works indoors
muntro does not flatten S’Àguila and Cala Pi into a workout backdrop. The route’s bends, height, and junction order come from the road itself, while a compatible trainer reproduces the changing gradient under your pedals.
The point-to-point format gives the session a destination. There is no need to invent a finish when the real road already has one.
